I began my photography journey at 17, starting with simple shoots with friends after school. Those early sessions laid the foundation for Morella Avenue Photography, named after the street where my passion first took root.

Growing up in a Latino household, the idea of pursuing a creative career seemed unrealistic, but my parents' unwavering support changed that perspective. My mom, especially, with her entrepreneurial spirit, encouraged me to follow my passion. I REmember capturing my dad's work in construction, and I discovered the beauty in authenticity—the dried concrete on his hat, a symbol of culture and determination.

Portrait photography is where I feel most at home creatively. There's something about capturing the essence of a person, the subtleties of their character, that drives me. When I direct a shoot, I aim to create a space where the model can truly shine, as if every aspect of the location was designed specifically for them. It's this pursuit of authenticity that keeps me inspired and motivated in my photography journey.
